Competing in First Lego League 2026-27 "BioGlow" Season
Calling All Enthusiastic Future Roboticists!

For this season, we have assembled five amazing teams across Stamford and NYC in the Challenge and Explore divisions. By the chronical order of when they were formed, our teams are the following :
Challenge Division: Platinum Platypus (PlatPlat), Hypershock and Odysseus
Explore Division: Technoblade, Technik Detectives
We look for students who are creative, resilient when facing challenges, and enjoy teamwork in developing robotic and scientific solutions related to real life problems. No prior robotic competition experience is required. Block or text-based coding experience is helpful but not mandatory. It will be great if you enjoy building Legos and learning about robotics!

Location: On Grass next to the Carousel Building, Mill River Park, Downtown Stamford
Jragon Academy hosted a Robotics Showcase in collaboration with Mill River Park’s “Fun on Saturday”!
Our competition team showcased their First Lego League robot and the missions it accomplished in the Connecticut State Qualifier this season. Our current students also showcased their talents and the robots they built to the public.
Students got to mix’n mingle with like-minded peers who also enjoy LEGO robotics and problem solving!
This is a free event for the whole family!
Investigating Nature with DNA Science
Supported by DNA laboratories in New York, our organization conducts ongoing ecological investigation across local estuaries, including the Connecticut shore of the Long Island Sound and the Hudson River. Our scope also encompasses terrestrial organisms and ecosystems.
We welcome eligible high school students and citizen scientists to participate and collaborate in our field sample collection and DNA barcoding initiatives.
